Reasons for Vishwaroopam part 2 release date delay

Today's status of Tamil Cinema is with some how bad properties that almost each and every cinemas getting released to the cinema theaters regardless of Rajni / Kamal Hassan / Vijay / Dhanush / Vijay Sethupathy, have to cross many stages starting from the post production, Censor board, copy rights and many other troubles. Even though all the Tamil cinema related personnel are trying their best for changing this situation, still many movies are put in the waiting mode for the release into the theaters.

As most of the media are very busy in talking only about the delay in the release of the Rajnikanth movie Kochadaiyaan, most of them have forgot about the delay with the release of the Tamil movie Vishwaroopam part 2 even though most of the scenes of the second part of Vishwaroopam were scheduled and shoot by Kamal Hassan team during the shooting of the movie Vishwaroopam part 1 itself. We would have not forgotten about the hurdles and troubles faced by the first part of Vishwaroopam, but still it is expected that the second part of Vishwaroopam may face more problems that the part one.

There was some rumors going around saying that the second part of Tamil movie Vishwaroopam may get released in the month of July and later on the month of October was pronounced for the same case. Then the months December and January month for Pongal were also pronounced by the production team too. Later on the movie Vishwaroopam 2 was said to get released in the date of 9th May too later on postponed to the last week of the month of May. The critical thing to be remembered is that even the music of the movie Vishwaroopam itself is not released so far.

We the audience have got just only a single image of the movie Vishwaroopam 2 so far. It is being said that there is 10% of the movie is yet to be shoot. The post production works for the Hindi language release of Vishwaroopam 2 is also not yet started. All the problems can be solved within a month of time if Kamal Hassan decides and works on it. But the real problem for the movie Vishwaroopam 2 is the strong decision of Kamal Hassan for releasing the movie Vishwaroopam 2 in America through DTH. Even though there are few supporting voices raising for this strong decision of Kamal Hassan the number of negative voices are many. Even though the main producer of the movie Vishwaroopam 2 is the Oscar Ravi Candran banner, as Kamal Hassan is a co producer of the movie, the decision of Kamal Hassan about the DTH release could not be opposed by Oscar Ravichandran.

The total collection for the movie Vishwaroopam part one through DTH was 14 crores. So the expectation for the DTH collection for the movie Vishwaroopam is higher than the real collection of the movie Vishwaroopam 1. So the calculation of Ulaga Nayagan Kamal Hassan is to keep up the collection through DTH to be higher for the movie Vishwaroopam 2.

Another plan of Kamal Hassan is said to sell the International rights by area wise and not to sell over all. But the idea of Kamal Hassan on the International rights of Vishwaroopam 2 is not agreed by most of the distributors from other countries. Conclusively, the release date of vishwaroopam 2 can be expected only after over coming all the above mentioned problems have to be faced by the Vishwaroopam 2 team. The recent update about the release date of Vishwaroopam part 2 is saying that the movie may get released on August month. But Lingusaamy who is the producer of the movie Uthama Villain in which Kamal Hassan is acting as the main male role will be released in the month of September this year.
